Which fee is lower for you
On fees alone, Walmart+ costs less whichever way it is paid. The calculator at the top compares the cheapest way to pay for the number of months you need: for a few months, monthly billing; for most of the year, the annual fee. What decides between the two is where you shop. Prime's value comes from Amazon's catalog and Prime Video; Walmart+'s from grocery delivery from Walmart stores, the fuel discount and the streaming choice, which on its own is worth up to $155.88 a year at Peacock's monthly price.
Prices over time
Amazon last raised Prime in February 2022, from $119 to $139 a year, as its results release filed with the SEC announced. The Walmart+ annual fee is $98 in every copy read for this site. The Prime page and the Walmart+ page give the details, and the warehouse club comparison covers Sam's Club, whose Plus tier now includes Walmart+.
