A Sam's Club membership costs $60 a year in the United States for Club and $120 for Plus, according to the Sam's Club join page read on November 1, 2026. The same page says Plus now includes Walmart+, and lists for Plus up to 2% back in Sam's Cash and free delivery and shipping from Sam's Club, which Club does not include. Club cost $45 and Plus $100 in the copy of the join page of October 2, 2022; both rose by the copy of November 17, 2022, to $50 and $110. A second increase took them to $60 and $120 between April 1, 2026 and May 6, 2026. In four years, Club has gone up 33%. Sam's Club, owned by Walmart, does not sell memberships by the month. Prices before any tax, without the promotions the page often shows to new members.
Is Sam's Club Plus worth the extra fee?

Plus with Walmart+ included
Walmart+ costs $98 a year on its own. A household that would pay for Sam's Club Plus and Walmart+ separately can now pay only for Plus: $120 against $218. For a Club member who already pays for Walmart+, moving to Plus costs $60 more a year and replaces the $98 fee, so it saves $38 before counting Sam's Cash.
Against Costco
Club is $5 cheaper than Costco Gold Star, and Plus $10 cheaper than Costco Executive. The Costco and Sam's Club comparison works out the spending at which each upgrade pays off.
